IPAF Working at Height

Aim(s)

Basic:
This course focuses on height safety applicable to the construction industry and covers all aspects of training to cover you and your operatives safely and in compliance with the Working at Height Regulations 2005.

Advanced:
The advanced working at height course has been designed for those of you who plan, supervise or organise work at height. The course covers the trades and specific work methodology found in today’s building programmes.

Objective(s)

To be aware of the legislation which affects working at height and fall protection equipment. Understand hazard analysis and risk assessments with regards to work at height. To be able to recognise the importance of inspecting equipment. To conduct a pre-use inspection of the equipment. To demonstrate an understanding of the three types of fall protection systems and the components used.

All successful candidates will receive a IPAF card and certificate.

Duration

This is a half day (4 hours) course for a maximum of eight delegates.
