(5.5 Tonne Vehicle & Trailer)
We are currently looking for a reliable and skilled Delivery Driver to join our friendly team. The role involves delivering plant hire equipment using a 5.5 tonne vehicle and trailer, ensuring timely and safe transport to and from customer sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 5.5 tonne vehicle and trailer
- Deliver and collect plant hire equipment and smaller items
- Carry out checks to ensure equipment is secure and roadworthy
- Provide friendly and professional service to customers
- Maintain delivery documentation and logs accurately
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence – Category C1E
- Experience driving 5.5T vehicles with trailers
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
Desirable
- Experience operating or delivering plant machinery (e.g. diggers, dumpers)
- Familiarity with plant hire or construction equipment
- A valid Category C (class 2) licence to drive a 26-tonne lorry
- Experience driving large vehicles

Plant Mechanic, full or part time.
KJN Services Ltd is a very successful family run Plant and Tool Hire, plumbing and drainage merchant.
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Plant Mechanic, full or part time career in the Plant Industry.
This position is mainly workshop based with occasional site work. Mechanical experience required, training to enhance your skills will be provided.
You will be involved in maintaining and repairing our fleet of Diggers, Dumper, Telehandlers, Rollers and Powered Access Machinery, this will also include smaller plant items.
You will need to ensure that all machinery is kept in good working order, this includes servicing, inspections and all records kept up to date.
You will need to liaise with the hire desk to ensure all equipment and machinery is ready when required and assist customers with operating instructions to safely use the machinery.
Our opening hours are Monday to Friday 7.30am – 5pm, Saturdays 8.30am – 12noon.
