We have an exciting new opportunity for a Delivery Driver (5.5 Tonne Vehicle & Trailer) – Plant Hire Equipment
We are currently looking for a reliable and skilled Delivery Driver to join our friendly team. The role involves delivering plant hire equipment using a 5.5 tonne vehicle and trailer, ensuring timely and safe transport to and from customer sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 5.5 tonne vehicle and trailer, deliver and collect plant hire equipment and smaller items.
- Carry out checks to ensure equipment is secure and roadworthy.
- Provide friendly and professional service to customers.
- Maintain delivery documentation and logs accurately.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence – Category C1E.
- Experience driving 5.5T vehicles with trailers.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
Desirable
- Experience operating or delivering plant machinery (e.g. diggers, dumpers).
- Familiarity with plant hire or construction equipment.
- A valid Category C (class 2) licence to drive a 26-tonne lorry.
- Experience driving large vehicles.
