CALCHEM CHEMICAL INHIBITOR

CalChem has a special reagent formula which works on reaction to sludge, limescale, flux and other debris through its combination of chemicals.

This fast reacting liquid is water-soluble, non-flammable, and non-acidic, and can, therefore, be used for all types of systems, including copper and aluminium. In addition, CalChem is environmentally friendly.

HOW IT WORKS

The chemical should be added to the system via the filling loop or radiator and then left to circulate, this will then flocculate silt, lubricate valves and pumps, suppress bacterial growth and eliminate the production of gases. It also has an added anti-freeze to cope with cold weather conditions.

On a system with 10-15 radiators, 1 litre should be sufficient.

The system will require a top-up if the water supply has been interrupted for any reason, or new radiators have been added.

A further 1 litre should be added every 2 years to prolong the efficiency of the system and to ensure that any further sludge, scale and silt build-up is re-circulated within the system and held in suspension.
